Dr. Ferguson is a registered yoga teacher and certified breath coach.
Dr. Kirsten Ferguson graduated with her RYT200 (registered yoga teacher 200 hours) certification in 2019. She was first introduced to power yoga in 1998 after developing a shoulder injury which made it increasingly difficult to adjust patients. Yoga helped her to return to practice full time and without further injury. She practiced for 3 years following her yoga teacher to different gyms. She returned to power yoga in 2015 after a long hiatus and committed the next 5 years exclusively to yoga. ​After her yoga teacher training, Dr. Ferguson searched for a method to assist further with flexibility in the shoulders and hips. She began to study Gravity Yoga, aka The Science of Stretching. She has taught yoga in-office and at several local gyms. She is currently teaching at Crunch Fitness - Fern Creek.

Breathing has such an immediate impact on your mind and body that even the act of inhaling vs. exhaling affects your nervous system differently. Fascinated with breath since struggling with asthma since the 5th grade, Dr. Ferguson became a certified breath coach.
